Free tool · no Discord bot

Is your website Discord-ready?

Paste a product URL. See how Discord unfurls it today — then how a component embed with Buy and Docs could look.

We read Open Graph the same way Discordbot does. Make card stores a local draft.

What Discordbot looks for

Discord’s classic link preview is Open Graph: og:title, og:description, og:image. That tile has no buttons.

A Discord component embed is different: container (type 17), section (9), text (10), media gallery (12), action rows (1), and link buttons (type 2, style 5). Discordbot reads server-rendered JSON — it does not run JavaScript.

This checker is free. Use it before a Product Hunt or Discord launch to catch missing OG tags, then import the page if you want buttons on the card.

Questions

What does Discord-ready mean?

Discordbot can fetch your page over https and find a title, description, and image. That yields a classic Open Graph tile. A Discord-ready product page can also become a component embed with real link buttons.

Is this Discord embed checker free?

Yes. Paste a URL, see the previews, leave. Tinycord does not require an account to run the check.

Does this install a Discord bot?

No. Discord fetches your page the same way it fetches any link preview. Component embeds are server-rendered JSON, not a bot.

Why is my og:image missing?

Add a meta property="og:image" tag with an absolute https URL. Prefer about 1200×630. Relative paths often fail Discord’s crawler.

How do I get Buy and Docs on the Discord card?

Classic Open Graph cannot do that. Publish a Discord component embed (types 17 / 9 / 1 / 2 style 5) on a hosted URL Discordbot can read, or use Tinycord to host one.
